Dr. Sejal Vyas is a Pediatric and Adult Neuropsychologist with 25 years of experience who performs neuropsychological evaluations, legal/forensic assessments, learning consultations, and cognitive remediation.
Her areas of expertise include neurodevelopmental syndromes (such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and other genetic conditions), neurologic syndromes (such as concussions, traumatic brain injury, and epilepsy), as well as other neuropsychiatric conditions (such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder). She has extensive training in, and an established track record working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults and geriatrics (click here to view Expertise).
Dr. Vyas developed her expertise through various in- and out-patient hospital settings and departments including Yale University School of Medicine – Department of Psychiatry, University of California San Francisco (UCSF) – Northern California Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Columbia University – Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry, and Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai School of Medicine – Departments of Rehabilitation Medicine and Psychiatry, among others. She served as Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons as well as at Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She is currently affiliated with the Stamford Hospital Department of Psychiatry and is conducting IRB (Institutional Review Board) approved research with Stamford Hospital’s Research Department.
